Lead Pastor
Steve Grosz
Steve is the Lead Pastor at Mountain View Church. Over the past 20 years he has had opportunity to serve in various roles in church ministry including: camp and conference speaker, college pastor, and 17 years experience as a lead pastor. Steve graduated from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago and recently received a PhD at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.
Though education and experience are certainly blessings, the real value of both has been to reveal a simple truth. Namely, that God in His love and forgiveness is the first mover in a radically renewed life. As God draws people into a relationship with Himself—and they respond in authentic faith and surrender—new community is created.
Administrative Assistant and Children's Ministry
Mary Jean Carnevale
Mary Jean serves as the administrative assistant and children's ministry coordinator. She has over 25 years experience working in the fields of administration and children/youth programs. In addition to her church work, Mary Jean enjoys crafting and is active in local craft shows. For Mary Jean there is no greater calling than discipleship. There are so many blessings to be found when people join together to further the kingdom of God.
Coordinator of Volunteer Discipleship
Diana Adkisson
Diana serves as the Coordinator of Volunteer Discipleship. Diana’s family always valued volunteering. Diana believes that volunteering is essential in the discipleship process and has volunteered for various organizations and within her church body over the years.
Diana graduated from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Diana worked for a number of years as an accountant before moving to the Roaring Fork Valley to assist in the family business.
Diana enjoys traveling and being on the water, as well as, the role of Mom and taking their son on "Mommy Adventures", which can be anything from a trip to Target to visiting a farm in the Valley to feed goats.
Music Ministry Developer
Russell Adkisson
Russell serves as the Music Ministry Developer with a deep passion for both Worship Music and Art. He has a degree in Media Arts and Animation. From 2016-2019 Russell pursued an independent music career where he composed, recorded and performed original music. During that pursuit God called Russell to repurpose his talents for worship music ministry. Russell has been a part of the MVC Worship Team since 2020. In his free time he enjoys many hobbies, including writing songs, fly fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife, Diana.
Roaring Fork Fellows Program Director
Michelle Grosz
Michelle is the director of the Roaring Fork Fellows program. Born and raised in California, she traded the beach for the mountains and enjoys hiking/biking with her little tribe as a mom. Michelle graduated from UCLA and has worked for a number of years in the field of special education. Michelle values her role in supporting the whole life discipleship of young adults.
